Meet with our certified counselors who dedicate their lives to supporting and mentoring at risk youth.
Please use this form to refer a client to one of our counselors.MAAP's Sacramento Youth Project targets youth ages 9-17 who are not aware of the dangers of marijuana, alcohol, or other drugs. These youth are also at high risk of dependence, dropping out of school, behavioral problems, and being arrested. The SYP has a proven curriculum, methodology, and track record. MAAP prides itself on being a one-stop shop for at-risk youth and their families.
Assessments: We work in Coordination with California Cares for Youth (CARE) Voucher Systems to help our clients focus on the challenges and concerns faced by youth.
Individualized Treatment Planning: Our counselors work closely with the client to formulate a plan of action to meet specific goals based on the individual's strength and needs identified in the assessment.
Recovery Support Services: Academic Tutoring, Homework Assistance, Gang-Prevention/Violence-Prevention and Sports Program (s).
Educational & Process Groups: (offered twice weekly) Expected Topics will include the following: Relapse Prevention, Anger and Violence Alternatives, Conflict Resolution, Communication Skills, Self-Esteem Building, Lifestyle Alternatives, The Sacramento Goal Planning, HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis-C ...and MUCH more!
Supportive Services Include: College Planning, Job Skills Training, Tutoring, Mentoring, Gang Prevention and Health Education.
